"theres nothin in that city that can fix what youve lost
so just come back where you came from, we can cover the cost
we can pump you full of liquor
here its cheaper for a pack
so just come home where you came from, and jimmy dont look back
cuz its the same parties
and its the same drugs
exactly where you started
when push came to shove
but the cast and crew
will be waiting for you
if you just come home"
now ive found my god in silence
but he never lets me rest
from how close i used to cut it
playin close to the chest
to the friends ive disappointed
and the family i let down
i guess ill just grow older
still thinkin of myself
"cuz its the same parties
and its the same drugs
just a few less in attendance
from when push came to shove
but whats left of the cast and crew
will be waiting for you
if you just come home"

Some catchy tracks on here, and my guy is not afraid to rip a guitar solo. Sounds like Daniel Johnston country at times, and the album cover looks like a hip-hop record. Cidimon Arustavi

This album seems to bring you in close during quieter songs like 'bigger than christmas' and then it hits you with 'the shining but tropical' with a killer transition between them. This is one of the few albums I am always excited to listen to. It doesn't matter the mood I'm in, there's always something there for me. Thanks for such a lovely album :) bridger b
