spending all my hours in the evenings all alone
took you all this time to even realize i was gone
couldnt shake the feeling walked the block inside my head
paced around for miles between the kitchen and my bed
but i dont really mind
been a couple years since i reached for whiskey on the rocks
culprit in my pocket coulda sworn i changed the locks
the next thing i know its 4 am and i can barely see the floor
wander round Manhattan tryin to find a little more
but i dont really mind
chalk it up to god cuz he's just tying up the score
why do i take it to the deepend when i get a little bored?
Some catchy tracks on here, and my guy is not afraid to rip a guitar solo. Sounds like Daniel Johnston country at times, and the album cover looks like a hip-hop record. Cidimon Arustavi
This album seems to bring you in close during quieter songs like 'bigger than christmas' and then it hits you with 'the shining but tropical' with a killer transition between them. This is one of the few albums I am always excited to listen to. It doesn't matter the mood I'm in, there's always something there for me. Thanks for such a lovely album :) bridger b
The second EP from Northern Irish singer-songwriter Bea Stewart runs from gentle folk to pillowy pop ballads, all perfectly executed. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 15, 2024
