you could be a sinner, you could be a saint
hell for all i know you could picket the pearly gates
or you could bum a smoke from Peter, might as well ask for the light
whatever you have to tell yourself that will get you through the night
you could be a sinner, yeah you could be a saint
doesnt seem to matter where you sign your name
but if you're livin for the moment, atleast do that moment right
oh young boy, did you think itd roll so easy?
you played your hand just like a fool
now you're state lines away, though you'd swear that it feels further
you've got a long long lonely life ahead of you
cuz i used to play the lotto
yeah i used to play roulette
but when you play with peoples hearts they tend to get upset
and you can only piss into the wind so many times in half a life
and i know countless casanovas who go to empty beds at night
i couldnt be a gambler
i was never much for cards
you could cash me out but id never get too far
and then id find myself with Cajetan smokin loosies at the bar

Some catchy tracks on here, and my guy is not afraid to rip a guitar solo. Sounds like Daniel Johnston country at times, and the album cover looks like a hip-hop record. Cidimon Arustavi

This album seems to bring you in close during quieter songs like 'bigger than christmas' and then it hits you with 'the shining but tropical' with a killer transition between them. This is one of the few albums I am always excited to listen to. It doesn't matter the mood I'm in, there's always something there for me. Thanks for such a lovely album :) bridger b
