I take new roads to get home
cuz I won't rely on you putting me down anymore
won't let old haunts turn me blue
cuz I won't depends on you calling all the shots, to tell you the truth
cuz I dont want nothing to do with your flip of a coin
hot and cold indiscernible love that you give
im over you
and you know what cuts to my heart
but I won't confide no, I won't play the part
no more kicking me down
cuz I won't sit by no, won't go quietly by no
im up off the ground
cuz I dont want nothing to do with your flip of a coin
hot and cold indiscernible love that you give
but I dont want nothing to do
its a flick of the light casts a shadow the size of the moon

Some catchy tracks on here, and my guy is not afraid to rip a guitar solo. Sounds like Daniel Johnston country at times, and the album cover looks like a hip-hop record. Cidimon Arustavi

This album seems to bring you in close during quieter songs like 'bigger than christmas' and then it hits you with 'the shining but tropical' with a killer transition between them. This is one of the few albums I am always excited to listen to. It doesn't matter the mood I'm in, there's always something there for me. Thanks for such a lovely album :) bridger b
